There are many historical sites in the area including the Mahafee Stage Coach Stop and Shawnee Mission Indian Museums.  Please ask for brochures and maps. The Gambling Boats are Harrah's. Argosy, Isle of Capri and Ameri-Star Casino. All are located about 15 minutes away on the river.  Maps are available. The National Intramural Softball Fields are located just 5 miles west on Johnson Drive. If planning to attend a tournament please make reservation early. We wish to accommodate everyone, but when conventions and special events you make your reservations as much in advance as possible. We only have 54 lots and they can go very quickly.  Thanks!
